We absolutely fell in love with Emerald Isle.  We plan on coming back every year. 

We took a trip out to Bear Island, which is a remote island accessible only by ferry.  Our day was spectacular, we rode waves for hours!  On return, the ferry stopped so we could observe the Dolphins that were frolicking right next to the boat!  It was a day I will never forget.

Thank you Emerald Isle Realty, for delivering everything that was promised and much, much more!  Our unit exceeded our expectations, it was fabulous.

Our family has made vacationing at the beach a family tradition for quite some years. This year was different for one major reason, we stayed right on the beach in a CONDO, not our pop up camper! Now our family will never vacation the same again. We absolutely loved the condo experience and truly enjoyed every minute of quality family time we had. Our children range in age from 16 down to 9 and each one had the best vacation ever right in Emerald Isle! We as parents also enjoyed this vacation due to the location, the amenities and the wonderful enjoyment of our children. We vacationed with four other families and cannot wait to experience Emerald Isle Reality again, it is the BEST!

Our family vacationed there this past summer. The Garvey House provided a wonderful place for our family to love on one another. You see, my husband & I live in Phoenix, AZ. Our son is a Marine at Camp Lejeune and was leaving for Iraq the middle of June. So we loaded up his family (with those two precious grandchildren) and headed to Emerald Isle. Our daughter and her new husband also joined us for what could be our last time together with our son/brother.

We had a wonderful time. The house was great. We were so close to the beach that little legs had no problem getting there. And the crabbing on the sound side was a ball! There was time for putt putt, Fort Macon, etc. Our neighbors Bob and Chris were truly hospitable. Love & fun just flowed. The Garvey House provided plenty of room and amenities that made our time there truly relaxing and carefree. So many memories.

Now, next summer we could repeat that OR give our son and his family a week after he gets back in January  (God willing). A time of "debriefing" and reconnecting. And for more memories.

Emerald Isle is the only beach we have been to as a family.  We started visiting there when our son was only 2 1/2 and he's now soon to be 25.  We love the beach, fishing, shopping and wonderful food in several of our favorite restaurants.  The area has changed over these past years but only for the better.  All the locals are so friendly and we have made some great acquaintances and friends.  We have stayed in homes on the beach, and on side streets and just being there is all that matters.  We love the fall of the year when the beach and area is less crowded.  All our family and extended families love EI!!!

Hi, we had the most awesome vacation in June on jannell lane with our children and grandchildren. We have been coming to emerald isle for four years indifferent rentals from you on jannell. This year was special because our daughter in law was in Iraq and we could spoil her 15 and 12 year old and my son their dad. They were very sad before we went and doing poorly in school but the family from the north together with them on the beach helped them more than any money could. They cried for mom but thru their tears they knew we would always be a family even if mom was away.  They settled down and have been doing great this summer. We had them up here for 3 weeks and they are different kids since our great vacation. Then out of the blue one of our neighbors was married down in emerald isle and we got to use your services again in a condo on the beach, I forgot the name but it was great  and off coast guard road. My daughter used her name, stone, and we all stayed for 4 days. We are looking forward to next summer and hope our daughter will be back at cheery point so we can celebrate.

Thank you for the opportunity to be able to contribute to our experiences on Emerald Isle . . . My family and I had the most excellent privilege of vacationing at Emerald Isle through Emerald Isle Realty.  Myself, my husband, sons and their ladies had a most wonderful vacation.  We had the luxury of staying at the Tar Heal Time Out Rental.  I am particular about our accommodations and felt relieved to know that the house we rented was not only well kept but the amenities were exceptional.  We had a four bedroom, two bath location near the Ocean front that not only gave us a perfect family experience but a great local as well!  We were fortunate to have a great house and easy access to everything we could hope for.  Sunsets, sand, water, sun, shopping, dancing and a great party atmosphere were all available.  Our celebration was for a family member whom was married on the beach, with a reception at the Aquarium.  When we departed I felt compelled to write in the diary that was at the house to tell our experience.  We gathered together to discuss our favorite times and combined our efforts to express our gratitude on the pages.  I would like to thank everyone involved that made our stay so enjoyable and will be forever grateful!
