Indian Beach encompasses a stretch of beaches less than 2-square miles, situated in between Emerald Isle and Salter Path in the middle of Bogue Banks.
The community was named after the discovery of Indian burial mounds shortly before the town was incorporated in 1973. Soft, sandy beaches and emerald green waters lined by lush maritime forests, make this small, upscale town a hidden treasure.
