We are thankful to live in a place that surrounds us with spectacular water views. The views of Bogue Sound provide us a sense of relaxation and serenity that can be observed from boat docks, balconies or the shore. The Atlantic Ocean may be large but feels personal as onlookers feel the ocean spray and enjoy its beautiful, uncrowded beaches. These amazing panoramic views easily transport anyone to a state of relaxation and are truly picturesque.
Amazing Sunsets
There is nothing like watching Mother Nature end her day and paint the sky with shades of yellow, orange and red with reflections of these colors shading the waters of the Crystal Coast. In Emerald Isle, we are thankful to be able to see these stunning sunsets every evening offering some of the best anywhere along the North Carolina coast.
Relaxed Atmosphere
Lying in the sand and listening to the sounds of the ocean is so relaxing. Walking on one of the area beaches and having the surf wash up on your feet or just sitting on the dock and staring out at the water make us thankful that there are still places to escape to that are untouched by such raw beauty.
Awesome Outdoor Activities
From surfing to bird watching, there are truly endless options when it comes to enjoying the great outdoors in Emerald Isle. We are thankful to have an environment that can support such an array of activities. We have still water for paddle boarding to clear skies for parasailing and gorgeous scenery for biking just to name a few.
Fun Things to Do
We are thankful for family. We are thankful to have so many fun family activities to explore. Whether we are getting a history lesson at a museum or discovering what lives in our waters at the North Carolina Aquarium, families have a great time being together along this beautiful stretch of island we call the Crystal Coast.
