Clawson’s 1905 Restaurant & Pub is one of the oldest buildings in Downtown Beaufort, serving first as a local grocery store and eventually as a restaurant. The interior preserves the history of the building with memorabilia from the grocery store and Beaufort’s past. Old antiques serve as décor amidst the brick-lined walls that are lined with wooden booths and tables. The third-floor dining room is a great place to enjoy a delicious dinner while taking in the views of the Beaufort waterfront and the Cape Lookout Lighthouse.
