Oceanana Fishing Pier

Plan a day of adventures at the Oceanana Fishing Pier, just a quick 20-minute drive from Emerald Isle and only minutes from Fort Macon State Park in Atlantic Beach.

Start your day off with the most important meal of the day and stunning ocean views at the Pier House Restaurant. With an array of items to choose from even your pickiest eater will be happy with what they are cooking up. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner making it a popular area to stop and refuel for locals and visitors alike.

Spend your day relaxing and fishing the day away. The Oceanana features the only fishing pier in Atlantic Beach, which stretches close to 1,000 feet into the ocean! With the great length of the pier, there is plenty of room for people to spread out and catch a wide variety fish.

The pier is also a great place for an evening stroll to end a perfect day on the Crystal Coast. Then grab a seat at the Barnacle Bar, located at the very end of the pier, nearly a thousand feet offshore. Have a drink or try one of their specialty cocktails as you watch the sunset.  Visitor Tips:

• A fishing pass allows you to fish 24 hours per day; daily fishing passes expire at 6 am each day
• The Pier House may close from 11 pm to 6 am, so those fishing will not have access to the Pier House during those times
• Don’t have a rod and reel? The Pier House offers rentals, as well as bait, tackle and refreshments
