Mosquito Run 5k or Endurance

Join us at Fort Macon State Park this March for the Mosquito Run 5K or Endurance Run!

This 5K walk/run and 12-hour endurance race is hosted by Friends of Fort Macon. Proceeds go to Fort Macon State Park to preserve baby whale skeleton and upkeep trails and enhancements at the park. Even if you cannot make the race, please help us continue to improve the park and consider donating.

Mosquito Endurance Run

Run as many trail laps as possible from 7 am to 7 pm! One lap is 3 miles long for solo ultra and 3-member relays. The trail surface is a mix of cross-country trail surfaces and sand.

Solo Ultra
Start time: 7 pm

3-Member Relay
Start time: 7pm

Mosquito Run 5K

Start time: 6 pm
The 5K will be ONE lap of the Elliot Coues Trail (3.2 miles).
